What an epic day from start to finish.
Carley was so much fun on the morning of the wedding. Considering there were 6 bridesmaids, two mums and the hair and makeup ladies to get ready, the day was super chill. So chill in fact, Carley may have been ever so slightly late to the wedding. But breezing past that part, what a fun morning we all had.
Bridge House Barn is a gorgeous wedding venue just outside of Kibworth in Leicestershire, right on the canal offering the most picturesque views. Their tipi setup is just perfect for a relaxed vibe, and if you've met Carley you know that's exactly what she's about.
Despite a few sprinkles of rain, there was definitely no dampening of the wedding spirit. We flew over to St Brendan's Church for the ceremony, before heading right back to the reception venue for some quick family photos before it got too wet. Luckily the weather held out and although a little chilly (great idea to bring all the blankets!) we got some amazing shots that really captured the atmosphere of the whole day.
Michael absolutely loved having his photograph taken and I'm pretty sure he secretly wants to get into modelling.
Now onto the speeches. What can I say? I've never laughed and cried so much listening to stories about two people I barely knew, but now feel like I've known them a lifetime. The best man's speech will be hard to beat for sure - although it was almost as long as the ceremony itself!
Carley and Michael, it's so clear that you guys absolutely adore each other and I'm so happy that you asked me to be such a big part of your day. Shout out to Jay Hipkiss Media who did a fantastic job on the video too.
